Ways to Support

Carrier Clinic is the largest independent, not-for-profit behavioral healthcare system specializing in psychiatric and addiction treatment in the state of New Jersey. But, we need your help so that we can continue to help others!

Providing a Gift That Supports Treatment Programs

Here at Carrier Clinic, we utilize may forms of treatment to help those struggling with psychiatric, emotional, behavioral, and addictive disorders to heal and recover.

Often in addition to medication and talk therapies our patients will take part in Music Therapy, Art Therapy, Movement Therapy, and Equine Therapy. Our clinicians believe that healing happens in many different ways and our goal is to help those who have entrusted their care to us to heal in the way that works best for them.

Through these different forms of therapy, our patients can take part in expressing their thoughts and feelings through the creation of hands on art projects, music groups, and movement around mindfulness. Often, a person will find the ability to express a thought, a moment in time, or a feeling though one of these forms of therapy when verbal expression has failed them.

Every person can participate in these forms of therapy regardless of skill level, and there are numerous examples of the empowerment that people have felt after participating in these programs.

Your donation to these programs will help Carrier Clinic continue to offer alternative, expressive therapies while also allowing our staff to continue to look for new and effective ways to help those people we care for to find hope and recovery here on our campus. Your gift will have a lasting impact on the more than 6000 people annually who seek treatment here at Carrier Clinic. Thank you for considering to support us and the people we serve.
